I have successfully practised these procedures for over forty years and have backed this practical experience with a strong commitment to attaining industry leading qualifications and accreditation including the International Beauty Therapy Diploma, Advanced Electrolysis Diploma & Cosmetic Camouflage Diploma as well as continual professional development attaining a teaching certificate, teaching up to level 3 students & acquiring further certification in holistic beauty.
Over the years I have carried out these treatments for clients from all walks of life and with diverse needs; including mums, young women, business women, gentlemen, transgender and transitioning, the retired, housebound and disabled.

WAXING
A skilled treatment requiring empathy and attention to detail. I use Organic Warm Honey Wax. I finally selected this particular wax after years of trialling various brands on the market. I find it 'works' well at a gentle temperature, sticks effectively even when the hair is quite short and is kind to all skin types and delicate areas. This is a quick method of hair removal, leaving the skin smooth for up to 6 weeks. With regular treatments, unsightly hair becomes a distant memory. MASSAGE
I give deep tissue Swedish massage. The occasional treatment is very relaxing and soothing & can be a lovely treat for either yourself, or as a gift for someone. Regular treatments every 2 or 4 weeks are therapeutic and remedial, helping to relieve conditions from headaches to bodily aches and pains. Massage improves circulation, relieves muscular tension and improves skin condition.

EYES
If you've got pale lashes or/and eyebrows, tinting is a great way to create definition lasting several weeks. This can be a practical solution for holidays and special occasions. These treatments take time and care using the very best products available. Regularly reviewing and trialling the variety of professional brands available, I use Permalash for tinting, which gives great depth of colour and long lasting results. A patch test needs to preclude treatment.

NAILS
Manicure
For men & women. Filing, cuticle work and hand and arm massage. Varnish if required.
Pedicure
For men & women. Foot soak, rough skin removed, filing, cuticle work, foot & leg massage. This is a relaxing way to spend an hour & your feet will feel fabulous for a long time afterwards; like walking on air. If you choose to have nail varnish it lasts for weeks and unlike gel varnish, is easy to remove!

FACIALS
A beautifully relaxing facial where a neck, shoulder and facial massage plays a key role; improving circulation, releases tension, relaxes muscle & oxygenates the skin.
The treatment formula as well as the products and ingredients selected, are personalised for each individual skin type including dry, oily, acne prone, T zone, normal, sensitive, mature, patchy, roseacea.
I make my own face masks using a combination of clays, oils and toners to achieve the right blend for each skin type.
Before the treatment begins we will chat about your skin type, any allergies or sensitivities, your expectations and whether you want just a lovely relaxing hour or whether you want to embark on a course of treatments as well as step up your home routine.
I use Bskincare products made here in Cornwall, to cleanse, tone, exfoliate, massage & moisturise.
During this treatment I give time to discuss your skin care routine and inspire realistic and beneficial regimes.
